Lilypie Fifth Birthday tickers

Careless Mummy

Thursday 26 August 2010 @ 10:47 am

Mondays always the boring day for working people, so do I even I am a SAHM. I rushed to send my kid go to school until I forget to bring his school bag. Marcus asked me where his school bag on the way I’m sending him to school. Argh, of course left in the house. I dropped Marcus to school then rushed back home to take it for him.

On the way back home, I was thinking it should not my responsible to check my kid’s school bag, work books and etc every time before we leave the house. I should pass this job to Marcus himself. I told him about it and he seems understand and willing to do it. From that day, he takes his school bag himself.

My hubby laughed at me. He said I won’t forget to take money, member cards, any shoebuy coupons and etc when go shopping. Yes, I do agree with him actually. LOL!!!

Lost patience

Wednesday 18 August 2010 @ 10:49 am

I did tell Marcus that we’re going to move into our new house soon. He seems so excited and keep asking me when to pack our luggage and others. You know, he asks me before he goes to bed almost every night. He knows that he will have his new bedroom and sleep by his own. I wonder if he can sleep alone without me? :P

My mother disagreed with me to let his grandson sleep by his own. She advised me let Marcus adapt to the new environment for few months. Hubby and I think it is the best time to train him in such new environment. I know my kid well, he actually can’t wait to dip into a new bathtub in the master bedroom. LOL!!!

I visited my friend at her lighting shop last week. There’re many choices and types of lighting. She recommended me some new kichler landscape lighting. Too bad I think I won’t even have a mini garden at my car porch. She offers me a designer to plan my house lighting for free. I like this service where other lighting shops don’t have.

Birthday gift for daddy

Monday 16 August 2010 @ 9:58 am

Hubby’s birthday is just less than a month, and I am thinking what should I buy for him. Frankly, I am the one who is not buy birthday gifts for him every year. Bad wife? :P This year, I think I must give him a surprise. I am not afford to get him those branded watch, shirts, belt, and etc. All these he will earn and buy them himself if he wants.

While surfing net last week, I discovered something new to me, there’re rfid blocking wallets. It’s protect us from payment fraud and identity theft. It’s not expensive and worth to buy. Hubby always forget where he put his wallet, sometimes left in his office or car. It’s quite dangerous if steal by someone. With the RFID blocking wallet, when you open it, each card is protected, so thieves cannot consolidate your information.

I guess hubby will like this new stuff. Besides that, I decide to create a birthday card, together with the help from Marcus. Hope he’s cooperate with me when doing the card. :)

Invest for our kid future

Wednesday 11 August 2010 @ 9:40 am

Being as parents for few years since Marcus was born, I spend a lot on him. It is worth to invest everything on our children, who does not agree with me? I have a friend told me that she does not want to have child at this moment. She is same age as me. What her reason not to have child now?  Well, no problem for both of wife and husband, just that they say cannot afford for a child. Both of them are working in high position. :P

May be I am so ‘kepoh’, but I just give my advise only for her good. If you really want to have a child, you sure will think of everything to give the best for the baby. You will work even harder to earn more money, mainly for your baby. This is I can assure as hubby and I work hard on what we’re doing now.

For me, I’ve invested in health savings account for my kid besides education investment. It depends on your budget. It just like saving better than spend on shopping every week. :)

Great holiday in Singapore

Wednesday 4 August 2010 @ 5:36 pm

Last two weeks, we had another family trip in Singapore.  I know it had been long time for me to update the post. But I have uploaded all photos in Facebook. Just to share the place which we stayed and happy moments of my kid.

We stayed in Festive Hotel under The Resort World in Sentosa Island. Hubby has reserved a room there. Most of the hotel rooms were fully booked.

We arrived in the hotel early in the morning and requested to give us for advance check in since we have kid. It’s advantage to bring kid to go travel, and we had extra six hours to stay. :P

Newly open casino. I didn’t go in, but hubby and he won SD300….

After rest, we went for our lunch before back to hotel to change. Marcus really can’t wait to play in the pool. We went to Hard Rock hotel swimming pool as our hotel swimming pool is under renovation. I didn’t bring his sand mould toys, so he’s still very enjoy using his hands to build a small mountain. :)

The next day, we went to The Universal Studios Singapore.

A quick family photo with Madagasscar…..

We didn’t realise that actually we spent more than eight hours inside. I wonder why some people say one hour can come out? May be they didn’t go for the rides and exciting games.

We had our dinner before say goodbye to The Universal Studios Singapore. Marcus was very exhausted and knocked off after shower. Hubby and I enjoyed watching tv while having our room service supper.

After check out the next day, we moved to Orchard Road. Having a great day shopping. This time shop till my hubby drop, but not me. At night, dinner with hubby friends and that’s the end of our third day. Last day, prepared to go home.

Shop for home furniture

Friday 30 July 2010 @ 10:58 pm

Even though I haven’t take my new house ’s key for renovation, but hubby and I started to look for our home furniture, just to get some ideas. I prefer to have modern theme, those simple and nice stuffs, so I think log furniture is not suitable.

Hubby says to bring me go visit to other furniture shops this coming weekend if he is free. Marcus is happy with it as he can run, jump here and there while we are busy talking to the sales person. Guess what, he gives us comments for those furniture that he does not like. LOL!!!

I will let him choose his bedroom furniture. I hope that he can sleep by himself, but sure need time to adapt it.

First month in JMC

Thursday 29 July 2010 @ 9:49 am

Time flies, and Marcus had attend one month lesson in JMC. I can say he is playing well and understand what the teacher taught him. Well, it just a month and hopefully he is interested.

For small kids, they are using organ first instead of piano.

So serious??? or just pretend??? :)

Playing tambourine….actually he likes to play with all those musical instrument.

Student set….

There will be a piano performance for young kids in Jusco Kinta City from 4 Aug to 8 Aug. For those who attend, some free gifts will be given. How nice if the gifts are custom water bottles, metronome or headphone.

Fighting in school

Friday 16 July 2010 @ 6:54 pm

Marcus is same school with his cousin sister, Noel who is six months youngest than him. Teachers in the school complain to me that Noel likes to fight with her classmates even though she just start school early this year only. The teachers did tell her mother, but I wonder why also want to let me know also? May be we’re relatives I guess so.

I am glad that I did not get any complains from my little boy’s teachers about fighting in school. But complaint about his talkative in the class. :P I als heard from my mother in law that Noel’s preants did scold and punish her. Yes, she behaved well for quite some times, but she threw her classmate’s water tumbler away. Ok, this is what my mother in law told me.

Her mother told me that she does not need any supplements for weight loss, but pills for gaining weights. Her daughter really drive her to the wall.

Nebulization

Friday 16 July 2010 @ 5:51 pm

Marcus was absent to school for three days due to slight fever and cough. Hubby and I brought him to visit his paed yesterday. The paed said that Marcus has lot of phlegm and since he does not want to split out the phlegm, so doctor adviced us to give him nebuliser with oxygen as to sooth his coughing and phlegm.

I was shocked to see that there are actually many kids who having suction at the nebuliser bay. I think the youngest one is just few months old. The process is around five minutes. Kids are busy watching Tom&Jerry cartoons. There was a mummy sitting there reading an acne product review book. I can see her kid is having eczema skin problem just like my friend’s kid.

Glad that my little boy is not scare, just feel tired. Today after I picked him up from school, we went for this suction again. I told him it’s the last visit here.

Pokemon

Sunday 11 July 2010 @ 1:12 am

My boy likes to watch Barney, Thomas, Bob The Builder, and even Dora. Well, he still likes all these cartoon movies, but not a crazy fan anymore. He changed his taste and like Pokemon cartoon movie now. He likes the small little cartoon called Pikachu. Besides that, he prefers to watch with story life cartoon movie like The Jungle Book, Princess and The Frog, Tarzan and etc.

Every time when we are at shopping mall, he sure bring hubby and I go to bookstore. Argh, he is not just want to buy story books, but Pokemon discs. I am glad that he is still not interested to read Pokemon books or games. :P

I can imagine there will be many discs and books in my house. I may donate to charity house or social security disability center one day when my kid grown up.

Next, what is the cartoon that he will be crazy with?

First piano lesson

Saturday 10 July 2010 @ 11:30 pm

Finally I received a phone call from Yamaha that a new class for JMC start in July. There was a trial class but I can’t attend with Marcus as we were in Langkawi.  So, I just registered him once I’m back. Marcus is willing to go for the piano class as he knows that I will be with him in the class too.

There is nine children in the class with two boys only. I met my blogger friend with her daughter when we attending the first lesson. Glad to meet you there every week from now on, Pei Mun. Before the class started, we talked about the piano teacher who I’m yet to meet her before. After the class ended, I saw a parents passed a lipofuze review book to the teacher, I guess she is very interested to loose weight. :P

Well, Marcus seems is a fast learner, for the first lesson. But when the teacher called the children to dance and sing in front, only my kid did not want to move. Anyway, the teacher and I did not want to force him, hopefully he is not shy next time.

I am not sure if Marcus really likes it, but I like it very much especially the music from cd, the teaching method, environment. Look like I am the one who wants to join the class. :P

Visit to furniture shop

Wednesday 30 June 2010 @ 6:03 pm

Last Sunday, before we went for ‘The Karate Kid’ movie, hubby brought us visit to a newly open furniture shop -Rozel. Yes, we don’t have to go KL to buy and pay for the transportation fees anymore. At first, I thought to have a look on it as we still waiting for our new house keys. Guess what, hubby and I spotted a classy dining table and sofas, so we both agreed to pay for the deposit first.

They are having grand sales for their opening, and hubby is good on calculation, so he said it is worth that we have them now. :P The sales person told us that we still can change to other new design later. Anyway, we are happy on what we have choose, so does our little boy too.

I started to pack and thought to sell used books, discs, boxes, accessories and others if possible, else will send for charity home. I don’t want to bring many stuffs when we move to new house.  Counting down for the day comes!!! Hopefully can move in before Chinese New Year……. :)

Our Langkawi trip

Friday 25 June 2010 @ 11:04 pm

Hubby actually planned to bring us go Singapore during the last school holidays, but ended we went to Langkawi as Marcus likes beaches more than shopping. :P Gosh, no shopping for mummy.

Our best friends with their kids joined us too. I hope to stay at Four Seasons or Tanjung Rhu resort, but there’re too expensive and our friends do not like to spend on those expensive resort just for sleep. :P So, I just chose to stay at Berjaya resort where everyone of us yet to experience to stay in the chalets.

This is the forest chalets where we stayed for two nights

Kids are so happy and playing around after the dinner if they are not fighting for the mini playstation 3.  After dinner, we just walked around the resort and back to hotel for rest as we needed to wake up early to join for Mangrove tour half day trip.

It’s getting dark when we reached Tanjung Rhu jetty, but we still got down to the speed boat.  Kids really enjoyed with the hour long speed boat ride.

Kids started to make noise to go swimming on the way back to resort. They’re not tired and exhausted at all. Jumped into the pool once we changed.

On the second nights, we dined at Pahn Thai restaurant. I like the environment.

Took some photos at the beach before we checked out.  We had our lunch at Japanese restaurant in Oriental Village.

Then, we headed to visit to crocodile farm.

Next, Underwater World before we took the last ferry back to Kuala Perlis. Arrived home safely at midnight. Frankly, I thought to have a rest and relax trip at the resort, but hubby’s friend prefer outdoor activities, so ended everyone felt exhausted in the end on the way back to Ipoh. :)

Mummies and kids

Saturday 19 June 2010 @ 11:33 pm

It was my best pal’s birthday two days ago. Her hubby was busy with work and left her celebrate with kids. Well, she was not alone as we had dinner in a classy and comfortable western restaurant to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a lot with the food and kept on order and order again till vomit. LOL!!!

I guess it will be wasted if you’re having the top fat burners but go to eat like us. We are not worry at all as we need to gain more weights. Anyway, we had a great night outing with our kids. I am sure my friend will get present from her hubby. I wonder what she gets this year.

World Cup fan

Friday 11 June 2010 @ 7:08 pm

Hubby is one of the World Cup fans, and tonight he must be crazy sitting in front of the TV watching the matches till morning if he is not sleepy. But I think he won’t be watch it by himself, mostly he will go out and watch with his friends at pub. How long the WC will end? If he just sleep for few hours per day, I think hgh supplement also can’t help him much.

Marcus and his cousin also WC fans, they like to play football. Since the school holidays start, they play non stop and seem not tired at all, but their mothers. It’s just few days of holidays, but my mother and sister do not need any weight loss pills at all, and they lose at least 1kg each of them. :P
