Meet With Dad In Expo

Saturday 30 June 2007 @ 6:42 am

I brought Marcus to meet daddy at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh as there’s Centennial Trade Expo for 4 days with my PIL and parents on Thursday night. Daddy was scheduled to be on duty there for these 4 days. Poor daddy has to stand there and explain his company’s products to visitors.

It was very crowded and we just dropped by for 30 minutes, then we decided to go as Marcus started to fall asleep. We didn’t wait for daddy as he needs to fetch his colleague back home after the expo.  Marcus was excited to see lots of people there and too bad he’s cried when a lady gave him a packet of groundnuts from The Pagoda.

I need not have to carry Marcus all the way as my parents take turn to help me out. Luckily he still want his “po po” & “gong gong” (his grandparents) :P

Summer Vacation

Saturday 30 June 2007 @ 12:26 am

It’s a summer now and do you plan to go anywhere for vacation. As for me, if my hubby can spent his time with me, I’ll definitely go for travelling.

I personally like to go Mediterranean holidays like in Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Greece to bargain holidays and last minute deals in such far-flung destinations as the Caribbean, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. I do hope that I can go all these destination one day with my hubby, and of coz it is very important to get cheap flights to Turkey and other destination. So that we can save much money on the flights. Holiday Hypermarket was a place that offering cheap holiday packages and cheap flights all over the world.

Search the bargain holidays and late deals from UK leading brand Tour Operators including First Choice Holidays, Thomson and Thomas Cook by using the holiday search engine.

17 Months Old

Wednesday 27 June 2007 @ 10:33 pm

Marcus’s 17 months old today. Time flies fast and I was glad that I have my lovely son. He’s not baby anymore and more looks like toddler. But he still can’t walk at this moment, this is what I worry about all the while. Many people told me that some kids may be slow a bit to walk. Is that true? But his paed said he must walk at 18 months old, which is end of next month.

He like to use his butt to move around instead of crawling when he was about 1 years old. I thought he won’t crawl anymore since moving using his butt meant crawl, this is what old people told me. Surprised, he can crawl using his knee last month. This is happened when he’s on bed, mattress or map. Other than that, he won’t crawl. May be he scare of pain when he crawl on the floor :-D

He doesn’t like to use milk bottle, I can say no more milk bottle for him coz he doesn’t drink milk in the middle of the night almost a week. He wants us to feed him milk by spoon. Even we try to fill in Ribena for him in the milk bottle, he also reject and push the milk bottle.

For his speech level, he still can’t speak well, only single word like mumm mumm(eat), kaaakaakk(maid), maaammaa (mummy), yeaahhyahh (grandfather), and many other single words which I also don’t understand. But it is fun to hear about baby language. He likes to sit in the walker and run very fast from front till the end of the house. No one can stop him when he’s running or else you will hit by his walker :-P

Now, he likes to pick up things on the floor and put it into his mouth. It is not only dirty which I hate but more dangerous if he picks up something like small coin, paper to put inside his mouth. I have write so much here, feel little bit of boring??? :-P No lah, I like to write all about my son. It is bless for me when he finished taking his bath, nice and clean with his cute and sweet face…..

Nice Bedding

Wednesday 27 June 2007 @ 12:02 am

While Marcus having his nap yesterday afternoon, I noticed that his bedding very dirty and the colour not sharp after washing many times. He has 3 sets of bedding only but all the design not attrative, somoremore the material of the bedding not cotton. So, I decide to change his bedding all over again.

This time I want to get him good material and nice colour with all cute cartoons. How about the bedding that you see it below where it from discount designer Scalamandre fabrics. There are wide selection of designs for you to choose, but I personally like this animal design.

It was so nice and I can even teach Marcus about all the animals there. I’m sure he can remember it faster compare what he read on book.

Broken & Missing Toys Again

Tuesday 26 June 2007 @ 10:29 pm

Attention : Any mummy or daddy facing this kind of problem???

That’s my son like to throw his toys and tear his books. I think most of us facing it, right? Most of the toys that I bought broken less than a year. The faster one was not more than a month which’s bought by my father. I have threw most of the broken toys and not much left now. So, hubby’s pocket will get a big hole soon coz I want to add up some “stocks” for him :-)

Left : No more tail for the buffalo anymore

Right : Not function anymore

Left : Missing part of it, don’t know where they are….????

Right : This is not the first book….

There are others broken toys and books too, I cant list out here so much. Sometimes I wonder why I bought expensive toys for him. My friend always said that my father likes to buy some China brand toys for my son, not suitable and not educational toys. I don’t think so, may be China brand not good in their quality, but most of the toys that my father bought were mainly for education. So, now I will not buy all expensive toys for him since they will break anytime. Better buy some china brand or cheaper toys first at this stage.

Repair Your Damaged Credit Report

Tuesday 26 June 2007 @ 4:25 am

My hubby told me that his brother having problem to get his new credit card approve now as he’s having poor credit before. I found a site at www.creditnet.com that can help all those with bad credit to get a new credit card. But too bad it is not applicable here.

As I know, those with bad credit history usually need seven years to remove their bad credit marks on their credit history, but at www.creditnet.com, you can now start replacing your bad debt credit card history with good history today. So, are you the one who is having bad credit and need to apply for a new credit card? Do check on to the site and get more information before apply it!!

Up To The Sky

Tuesday 26 June 2007 @ 3:27 am

We’re at my parents home last Sunday. My mother cooked lunch for me since I cant eat outside food most of time. As usual, I will be a Queen there as my mother will take care of Marcus. So, I have more time for blogging :-P

Hubby was back from outside with his friend and played with Marcus who was just woke up from his nap. I was shocked when I saw the scene below. Hubby carried Marcus almost up to the top. I was so worried and asked hubby not to do that, it’s very dangerous. But they seemed so happy especially the little boy, laughing non stop :-)

I was so clever that I brought my camera with me that time and quickly snapped the photo.  I did read through some magazines that it’s not good to swing kid like my hubby did. Besides dangerous, it’s no good for health. I’m not sure whether it’’s true, but I did told hubby not to do it again. Hubby just listen in but out the other side :-(

Time For Vacation

Tuesday 26 June 2007 @ 2:45 am

It’s been quite a long time that I didnt go for any vacation with hubby and my son. Hubby will finish his current project in hand next two month. I think it is the best time for vacation. But there are so many vacations place for me to choose. I like to go oversea instead of just travel around Malaysia.

How about I choose to go Rocky Point vacation in Mexico? It is located by the enchanting Sea of Cortez, and they offer the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I’m sure hubby will like it as he needs rest and relax vacation. After getting some information through the site, I will stay at Rocky Point vacation rental homes if I really go there. I can enjoy stunning sunsets with wonderful amenities including ocean views, fully equipped kitchens, internet access and satellite TV. It’s just like staying at home, what’s a luxury vacation!!!

Insurance For My Bali Trip

Monday 25 June 2007 @ 10:09 pm

I will go Bali for a vacation with hubby and friends this coming August.  I’ve been told by the travel agent that we need to buy travel insurances as trip protection before we departure.

This insurance is to protect us if anything happen before or during the vacation. I still remembered that my luggage was broke when I went to Korea last year. Luckily I did bought travel insurance and I got my compensate for my luggage. So, it is good for us to buy this kind of insurance when we go for vacation. We can’t predict what will happen during the vacation.

Mummy’s Back

Sunday 24 June 2007 @ 1:05 pm

I’m back from Nuffnang gathering with hubby in Penang yesterday. It’s a one day trip as my friend’s hubby has something to do the next morning. The gathering not so fun that I expected, most of the bloggers were youngsters. They were in few groups or gangs.

Not many bloggers mummies there except my friends and 5xmom. We left earlier as we really have nothing to do over there :P Guess what, we went for shopping in Gurney Plaza. I didn’t buy things for myself but for Marcus. I bought a education toy set for him from My Little Intellect. But he seemed not interested for the new toy.

Vacation In Australia

Friday 22 June 2007 @ 3:24 pm

I never bring Marcus to go for vacation since he’s born. But hubby and I planned that we will bring him to go for vacation in Australia end of this year. My friends will follow us too for the vacation and of coz they will also bring along their kids. I’m sure Marcus will very happy for this coming vacation.

My friend told me that we need to buy air tickets and book for hotel in this few weeks. We want to book it earlier as we know that time is peak season, we don’t want end up no accomodation. I’m looking Hotels in Sydney as this is one of our destination tour. I have choose some of the hotels, but I need to discuss with my friends before I really book it.

Bye Marcus !!!

Friday 22 June 2007 @ 1:23 pm

I’m going to Penang tomorrow morning with hubby and friends. I will attend bloggers gathering at Gurney Plaza Complex. I still not comfirm whether I want to stay a night there as my friends will go back after the gathering.

If I stay there a night, then probably will back to Ipoh on Sunday evening. So, I gonna to miss Marcus for a day. I have informed my parents to come and visit Marcus. Then, Marcus can go “kai kai” with his grandparents :-)

I can bring Marcus to go with me, as hubby can’t take care of Marcus by himself. Somemore I cant bring Marcus to join with the gathering :-P

Tool Box For My Home

Friday 22 June 2007 @ 11:53 am

Do you have a tool box at home? Hubby and I just realised that we don’t have any tool box in our garage when hubby wants a hammer yesterday. After this indicent, hubby decides to buy a sets of tools inside the toolbox.  I just cant believe that we do not have any equipments and tool box at home all the while.

I told hubby to buy a stainless steel tool box to put all the equipments in the garage. It is worth to buy this kind of tool box as it is durable and it will not rust or corrode when exposed to moisture, especially in the garage. Furthermore, it is very easy to clean with just a little polish and it looks like before even after many years.

Learning Is Fun

Thursday 21 June 2007 @ 1:50 pm

Hubby and I brought Marcus to MPH last night. Hubby decided to go there as he wanted to buy A-Z alphabet book for Marcus. My MIL told hubby that her friend’s grandson, 2 years old can read all 26 alphabets. Hubby jeolous and wants his son to learn it.

Surprised, Marcus likes books much. I didn’t expect that boys like books. They should like toys or others. Anyway, I was happy to see him sit down quietly and took the books flick here and there. I have bought some flash cards for him, and he knew more than 10 words now. If I ask him to pick the “flower” card for me, he can pick up the card although he still don’t know how to read it.

Future Planning

Thursday 21 June 2007 @ 1:30 pm

My hubby just back from his business trip last two days. He told me that his customer asked him to buy gold now as it is the best time for gold investment. Hubby did planned for our future and hope that we can have better life when we’re old. So, as the first timer investor like my hubby, he decides to invest for our future.

His customer asked him to check through Monex Deposit Company (MDC) where hubby can purchase gold or other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository.

Buying gold has been recognized for centuries as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a unique investment. So, I think my hubby will invest in gold after he has check through the details.

Timberland Shoes

Tuesday 19 June 2007 @ 10:41 pm

HOO…HOO…HOOOO…..Hubby bought these two pairs of shoes from UK for Marcus. Cool, right? I did asked hubby to buy some education toys or books for Marcus. He told me that he hardly find it, may be the places he went didn’t sell any toys or books.

I like the shoes but felt hubby wasted money as Marcus still don’t know how to walk. It’s fine, as I can keep it when he knows how to walk. It is not fine for me as it’s quite expensive for a child with Timberland shoes which costs around RM70 per pair. Hubby said he loves it much, that’s why he didn’t consider the price and bought it :-P

Want to know what hubby bought for me???? Check it out here……

Online Educational Website

Mothers More Important Than Fathers?

Monday 18 June 2007 @ 4:05 pm

I saw an interesting post from Ah Pek’s blog just now. Are mothers more important than fathers? I’m quite interesting about the title, and that’s why I want to post it in my kid’s blog. How do you think? As for me, both also very important to our children. Without one of them, I’m sure children may not be happy and the family seemed like missing someone.

Do you feel that children are more attached to their mothers instead of fathers? I do agree as I’m more attached to my mother. Marcus also very attached to me nowadays if compare to hubby. May be because I have more time with him as hubby needs to go work and back home late.

Some of you may think mothers more important as they gave birth to babies, and need to take care of them every day and night. But fathers always work hard as to earn more money for the family. So, what I’m trying to say is both also very important and I appreciate to what they did. I also hope that my son will also appreciate with what hubby and I did to him when he grows……

Getting Loans

Monday 18 June 2007 @ 3:55 pm

My hubby told me that his brother applied personal loans as to settle his car loan and house loan last month. Too bad he can’t get the approval from the bank because he has a bad credit history. Hubby told him not to apply again since other bank also won’t approve for his loans. But he said he wants to give it a try. He then try to apply to another bank, but again he’s rejected. He found it’s really hard to get loans.

Since he has a bad credit history, the only type that he may be able to get is an Adverse credit loans. We should know that people with bad credit typically have a harder time finding a lender and end up paying higher interest rates. So, if you want to apply for loans next time, do check it whether you have a bad credit history.

Stay Here Again

Monday 18 June 2007 @ 3:07 pm

Marcus and I will go back home tomorrow when hubby come back from Europe. Everyone in my family like my parents, sister and brother felt sad if we back home. Since I stayed at my parents’ house for 10 days, Marcus was get along well with my parents and even his unlce, my brother.

My brother likes him much and always bring Marcus go “kai kai”, played with him once he comes back from work. Before that, Marcus doesn”t want my brother and cried when he see him, but after few days we live here, Marcus accepted my brother and cried when he go out :-P

Especially my mother, she really hope that we can still staying here with her. My mother take care of Marcus from morning till night, even midnight too. She didn’t even say tired for taking care of him. I was glad that I have such a good mother.

But we still need to go home, my PIL also very hope that we come back to them. Luckily I’m staying in Ipoh and can always bring Marcus visits my parents, and my parents can also come to visit us too :-)

Challenging Task

Monday 18 June 2007 @ 2:20 pm

It is fun to learn Maths, especially for the concept of addition and subraction. It is a challenging task for young children. I personally like Maths a lot and I hope my kid will also like it too.

In order for young children to focus on it, the method of teaching must be fun and easy. It is quite hard for parents to teach their children. For me, I definitely will get Math Tutors for my son when he reach 4 years old.

Scary Breakfast

Sunday 17 June 2007 @ 5:00 pm

I will feed Marcus milk and bread every morning before I go for breakfast with my parents. My mother helped me to feed Marcus as I’m busy this morning. Even though he has his breakfast, but he still want it when we having breakfast.

I doesn’t like Marcus to eat outside food, not healthy. Normally I will bring a piece of bread for him and put it in a tupperwave. Same like this morning when I go out for breakfast with my parents.

My mother fed him bread while I having my breakfast. Suddenly, my mother shocked and showed me a staple’s bullet to me. She told me that she found the bullet on the bread. My father and I also shocked to see that. Luckily Marcus didn’t take and eat it, or else….big problem…

We all surprised as my parents’ house don’t have any staple or bullet. How come it will appear on the bread….then, you know why lah. I don’t want to tell the brand name of the bread, you should know the brand coz most of the people having it every day if compare to other brand.

We as parents really need to be more careful when we feed our children. Even just a small thing will cause bad to them.

Problem With Troubled Teen

Sunday 17 June 2007 @ 4:06 pm

I have a cousin, Janet who is 16 years old now, is a very troubled teen. She really makes her parents very angry about her behavior, attitude and characteristic. She doesn’t like to listen to people especially when her parents give her advise. Her parents very sad about their daughter and told my mother that they really don’t know how to teach her again.

They thaught to send her to oversea to continue her studies. Once I know that, I told my aunty not to send her to oversea as she will getting naughtier because no one will teach and counselling her. They agreed with me but they don’t have anymore choose.

I have gone through some information about Boot Camps and Military Schools from Help My Teen lately from my friend. My friend told me about this information because her brother also is a troubled teen. She share information with me and hope that I can also help my cousin.

Help My Teen is an organisation in counseling and connecting families with appropriate situations for their troubled teen over 20 years experience. They have been able to direct many besieged and divided families towards healing and unification to a common goal through a network of associates and programs.

So, if you have troubled teen in your family, don’t give up on their child but direct them to a long and productive future.

This is a sponsored post.

Happy Father’s Day

Saturday 16 June 2007 @ 2:57 pm

Tomorrow is a Father’s Day but Marcus and I can’t celebrate with daddy as he’s in Europe and will be back next Tuesday. Since Marcus doesn’t know what is Father’s Day, I thought to help Marcus to celebrate it with daddy when he comes back. I have a plan on how to celerate it :-)

I’m sure daddy miss us much, and hope to celebrate it with us tomorrow.  I’m waiting for daddy’s call as I want to tell him that I have my plan to celebrate father’s day with him, of coz with Marcus too :-P

Marcus and I wish daddy  ~~~~~ HAPPY FATHER’S DAY !!!!

My Dream House

Friday 15 June 2007 @ 4:02 am

I’m yet own any mortgages, but I think it is best that we know and learn more before buying a new house. I’m always dream that hubby can buy a bungalowfor me as I want to have more space like a garden or a big kitchen for me. Hubby can’t buy it now as he wants to start for his new business soon.  If he buy it now, he needs to pay for the house loan and business loan. I know that we can remortgages, but we try to avoid this happen as it is a budden to hubby.

Besides, we also very worry about the house instalment if hubby really cant pay for it. Then, who going to pay for it as I’m not working? Thus,  getting a mortgage protection is one of the best solution as to ensure the outstanding loans can be waived off if something bad happen to us.

Santa Claus’s Coming Home

Thursday 14 June 2007 @ 10:18 pm

Hubby called me from Holland just now and told me that he will reach Malaysia next Tuesday morning. That’s a good news to us as Marcus and I so miss daddy.Just count and count, still have about 4 days then Marcus can see his daddy, so am I.

Hubby told me that he almost finish all his money as he has bought many things for Marcus and I. He bought Marcus two pairs of shoes costs RM70 per pair, new clothes. I asked him not to buy anymore for Marcus, if he really want to buy, buy him books or educational toys, no more clothes, shoes, cap, or others. As the things there not that cheap.

Guess what? Hubby bought me a DKNY handbag which costs RM400+, it’s hardly to find it in Malaysia. He said it’s a very nice handbag. Don”t know lah, I’m yet to see it but I trust his taste!!! Besides, he also bought me Hard Rock shirt from Amesterthem. So eager to see it now….Hubby also rewarded himself a new pair of shoes. He told me that his shoes got a big hole after walking too much in London :-)

Awareness Of Teenage Growth

Thursday 14 June 2007 @ 2:03 pm

Nowadys many parents worried about their teen’s growing pains, habits, pressure. Most of the time parents will taking about this issue when they meet each other. It is more difficult to control them about the spending habits of teens especially if they are given access to their own savings. It is very important for parents to teach them how to manage or spend their money when they are young.  Thus, it is a good idea of a prepaid teen card by Payjr. This card enables parents to transfer money to their children, track their spending habits and teach them financial management.

Parents can reward their children for good grades, completed chores or special occasions by making a direct transfer to the Visa Buxx card electronically and their children will be informed via sms or email. Besides,  parents can be informed of children’s spending activities that way. Last, the card provides independence to the teens, so they know that they are watched by their parents when they spend.

Going For Cross Tattoos

Wednesday 13 June 2007 @ 3:30 pm

One of my cousin who is very close to me told me that he might go for cross tattoos on his arm next month. He’s now 20 years old and taking graphic design course in Kuala Lumpur. He told me that his friends all having tattoos on their body and this is one of the trend for teenagers nowadays. Cross tattoos are one of the fastest growing types of body modification available.

He told me that his parents disagreed him to go for cross tattoos, but he insists and will go for it soon. I can’t give him any comment as he is a teenager, I think he will do what he think it is right. Somemore cross tattoos are so common now. I’m sure many people did it too.

Sailing With Hubby

Wednesday 13 June 2007 @ 3:20 pm

Sailing is one of my hope, and I wish I can enjoy it with hubby one day. I like this activity since I was young when I saw a group of people sailing on the sea in Pangkor Island. But I’m sure my parents won’t allow me as they think it is a dangerous activity.

I have read an acticle lately about Adela, who was a supreme sailmaking challenge and rebuilt in England for American owner George Lindermann, is very large. The overall length is 140 feet. If you love sailmaker too, I’m sure you know about her. You can always visit to the site to know more about the information.
