Too Early For That ?

I know that it is still early to let Marcus to learn how to write, draw or color. It should wait at least one more year. But I was so keen to let him hold pen or pencil. See, doesn’t he looks smart when holding the crayon ??? :-) My mother said me crazy that I bought crayon, color pencils and coloring books for him to color as he is only 22 months old. Geee….but see, she is the one who is teaching him ??? :-P

    There’s not a standard stage for each learning skill. It all depends on your child. Just my thoughts.

    Never too early is what I say! Tee started feeding herself at 12 months old (messy like hell) but later, everyone in public always commented how amazing it was that my daughter can feed herself. Same with colouring, she started painting at 14 months….she’s a pro now *smile*

    Is alright to learn as is not early… Now, Montessori Young Explorer can take in child as young as 18 mths old… My daughter has a classmate (girl) who is 18 mths old… She is the youngest and she can hold colour pencil or crayon… That’s why I say is not that early… I also plan to send my son after CNY which mean he will me 20 mths old… He is going to 17 mths old this Nov 29 but his walking is not stable yet.

    Holidaymummy, i’m thinking to send my son to learn something at Montessori next year…ur son can join Marcus next year…LOL!!!
