I went to a montessori kindergarten for enquiry with my mother in law and Marcus this afternoon. My mother in law always hope to let Marcus to go to kindergarten to mix around and learn something, so am I. But my parents, relatives and some of my friends said that he is too young to go nursery. Well, it’s just a half day from 8.30am to 12pm.
He was too scared to step into the house and wanted to play outside with Mummyinvain’s son only. Yes, her son studying there and I can see that he learns a lot these months. My kid didn’t want to go home and only sticked around with the slide and those toys houses.

The principle told me my kid is the youngest if he joined in. Wow, small baby in the school. On the way back home, my mother in law told me that Marcus is too young to join in and better wait until he is 30 months old. Since she saw every kids there know how to wear their shoes, but not her grandson. Geee….he can learn over there….
Anyway, I still not decide and let see what my hubby says tonight.

still young lar, dont send. pity him need to get up early every morning.
hi lovely mummy, if it is really a montessori based, dont worry about being too young. they dont really study, but learn thru play :p
I’m actually waiting for my boy to turn 2years old before sending him to join this montessori… I have asked mummyinvain for the details… They will not teach much but at least he can learn basic things and whole session will be like playing with the puzzles or blocks for them to complete… At least next time when go to actual kindergarten he will not cry… Still have time to think for it..
I thin kit’s a very good idea to put him there. It’s not about studying.A good socialising is very important too.
