Punishment

My kid is very playful or I should say him naughty. Most of the kids will become very talkative and playful after they start to school, same goes to my kid. Marcus did something that make me angry this afternoon.

He likes to take some animal toys when he takes bath. After I showered him, he threw one of his animal toys inside the toilet bowl. This is not the first time. Ok, I told myself not to scold or hit him but to advise him.

Then, it’s time for him to take a nap. When I come out from the toilet, I saw him playing and throwing the bathmat up and down. It is not the first time again. Gosh, I told myself not to get angry. This time I really want to punish him. I asked him to stand on the bathmat he played for 5 minutes……without making any noise. 

I’m lying on my bed pretend to sleep while he standing there alone looking at me pitiful. After few minutes, I asked him if he wants to play again. He said NO and started show his “manja” look to me. Then, I advised him again and wanted him to say sorry to me. LOL!!! I’m not sure whether he will play it again , but what I think is a must to punish him.

    u know what? the more u said “no”, the more they want to do it. Just to make u angry. Kids are very clever and cheeky, pity the parents on educating and taming them! Sigh!! I have the same problem with my gal and she has not yet go to school! Now she knows how to talk back at u! Faint!!

    awww..doesn’t he look pitiful? hahaha…anyway, i believe kids should be punished at times and when they are at wrong…so they wont become spoiled later…

    Wah..some more can snap photo ah..Yes, sometimes they really test our patience until cannot take it already.

    Only my boy can understand what punishment means. Isabelle still blur blur with the concept leh, she still plays by herself at her notty corner. *Slap head*

    rose, ya, that’s why i dont want to say “no” or “dont play” , make me more angry…

    andrewjune, ya, quite pitiful too, but i have to do it or else he wont scare.

    mummy gwen, i asked him to stand n let me snap a photo before he can move…lol

    shoppingmum, im not sure if he understand what punishment i gave him, but better than just shout shout and hit him like crazy woman…
