I’m having a busy weekend with my brother’s wedding and attend a kid’s birthday party. It was Shen Liang 1st Brirthday party on Sunday. I told his mummy that it is a must to have a party for him on his 1st birthday, so that Marcus can join the party as well. LOL!!!

The party is held in the afternoon, which is Marcus nap time. I don’t bother about it and let him join the crowd. We were back at home after the party, but this little cheeky boy didn’t feel asleep at all. 

Talking about gift for the birthday boy, I have no idea what to buy for him thought he has many nice clothes and toys. Looking at those colour pencils, some nice cheap pens, story books, children DVD songs and etc at MPH book store, I got him a set of baby first word books. They are so colourful, and I got Marcus another set of peekaboo books.

As mentioned in my previous post, I will celebrate Mother’s day tomorrow to avoid crowd. We will have a dinner together with my mother, mother in law and my family members. Hubby reminded me as to bring few bottles of red wines which he bought before Chinese New Year. I asked my maid to take out from the store room. Well, we still have around 10 bottles and yet to finish.

I thought to put all the red wines in refrigerator, but it’s full of food, drinks and vegetables. How good if hubby can get a wine refrigerator so that I can keep the red wines in good condition. Well, wine refrigerators are built with a thermoelectric cooling system instead of a compressor, thus less energy is used.

But the thing is my kitchen has no space for the wine refrigerator.

I will only celebrate Mother’s Day with my mother and mother in law tomorrow. We will have a dinner with other family members too. I just think that who’s going to celebrate this special day for me since Marcus is too young to know about it. To my surprise, hubby suggested to have a dinner, just 3 of us as to celebrate Mother’s day with me last night.

We went to Jusco for our dinner as I want to buy some stuffs for my Gold Coast trip next week. After the dinner, we brought Marcus for toy rides in front of Guardian. I promised him that mummy will bring him for a ride if he finish his porridge before we go out. He did it, so I have to keep my promise.

 

Even though I didn’t received any gifts, but I’m happy to enjoy my night with my hubby and kid. Here I wish all the mothers in the world “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY”

I threw a birthday party for Marcus at KFC in January. He was so happy and I will throw another birthday party for him next year. But I feel I don’t want to have it at either KFC or Mcdonald again. Some of my friends suggested to celebrate it at home. Geee….it is so troublesome and mess up my house even though I have maid to help and clean it for me.

I have a special idea after I read through a website about Party Rentals. They have Inflatable Party Rentals, Water Slide Party Rentals and many other categories which are suitable for any events, parties, or even opening ceremony. I can invite all my friends with kids to join this party at field which nearby my house since I don’t have a big compound in my house. 

Well, even though I like it but it definitely out of my budget. I just think only and of course I won’t spend such money though I’m not a millionaire. LOL!!!

Hubby and I will go for vacation in May, but there are 2 special days on that month, my mother’s birthday and mother’s day. So, I will plan to have early celebration for my mother before hubby and I off to Gold Coast. This year, we have added another new member, that’s is my lovely niece.

My sister and I feel headache when dealing with gift for her every year. We really don’t know what to buy thought she has everything she wants. If very expensive, we can’t afford, if cheap feel bad. Luckily my mother has give us a hint that she wants a set of mineral makeup as birthday’s gift. She is clever too as she needs it for my brother’s wedding in June.
