We woke up late for breakfast yesterday. After breakfast, we went to Tesco for some groceries shop as we will have steamboat for dinner at my parents’ house. LOL!!! I like steamboat and this is hubby’s idea.

After that, we went to my parents’ house for rest. Geee…we have another appointement then. Marcus got very excited when my father takes out a dog’s piggy bank. He wanted to help his grandfather to put all the coins inside it, but not for long. He enjoyed to play with the coins, and getting his hands dirty and smelly.

After taking porridge for lunch, we headed to Ipoh Parade as to meet up friends - Shoppingmum and Mummyinvain. Oh ya, Shoppingmum and her family just back from Bangkok and will stay for a week in Ipoh. We discussed about our trip to Bangkok next month. LOL!!!

I brought Marcus out too even though he is having slight fever and took medicine. He didn’t join the crowd with other kids, but his eyes kept looking at them. Well, our gathering took more than an hour.

At night, we have home made steamboat with my family and parents in law.  It’s so enjoyable and great dining at home than outside.  

I brought Marcus to the school again yesterday. By the time we reached, the class dismissed and the children were playing toys on the floor while waiting for their parents to pick them up.  Marcus started to familiar with the place, but still a bit scared to join with his “future” classmates.

I told him to stay with teacher as I want to go wash room. He behaved well and didn’t cry and look for me. When I came out I see him run here and there played happily with the flag.

I’m not sure if he can behave well without me around when he starts school. Anyway, I will bring him to school for “rehearsal” next week before he really join in the class with others.

I can’t remember well when was the last time I brought Marcus to night amusement park. Anyway, we went again after dinner with my family members last Saturday. I really don’t like to step into the park, but because of my son wanted to play those mini rides, so I have no choice to be there with him.

I asked hubby and my mother to accompany Marcus for the rides as I’m busy taking photos. He’s so excited and happy, but just don’t like to show off his happy face to us. Hubby felt dizzy after the mini aeroplane ride with Marcus. Aiyo, he is old already…..LOL!!!

We spent RM20 for the rides. Each ride costs us RM3, expensive huh? Anyway, it’s worth as Marcus likes to go for kids’ rides very much. I should plan a trip to Genting Highlands one day since there are many rides to play.

I’m glad that Marcus didn’t cry and yell when we want to go home. He even said “goodbye” to all the rides. Since he’s so good boy and I promised him that mummy and daddy will bring him come again next time. 

Marcus is having PediaSure milk powder few months ago. It comes in yummy chocolate and vanilla flavours. I let him try the vanilla flavours and he likes the taste much. With this milk, his daily nutrition can still be complete even when he doesn’t eat the way I want him to.

I got these bento kits free when I purchse PediaSure. I’m yet to try it until today. I got to know that some of the blogger mummies are into bento fun recently, so I also would like to try too for my kid. LOL!!!  

Egg shapers, cheese/bread cutters

This is the result what I prepared for Marcus as breakfast this morning. Gosh, not attractive, huh? He was shocked to see bread turned into bear shape, cheese turned into fish and bird shape. Another one is an egg, but I can’t mould it out as bear shape as the egg (kampung egg) is too small. I’m glad that he ate what I prepared for him. 

I’m thinking to buy more bento kits and books to learn if I have time. It is fun to prepare the kid’s meal even though it takes time. I want to make sure that he eat healthily every day.

Marcus likes to go Jusco. He will point and ask daddy to go Jusco whenever we passed by. We brought him to Jusco again after his music class last night. Hubby likes to go there during weekdays as it’s too crowd and hard to find parking during weekend.

My boy was so excited with the buggy ride. He called it as train, I can’t understand why he sees it as a train. There are very few and always occupied, but we’re lucky to get one for Marcus last night. He looks so cute in the buggy ride especially when he is riding on it. He didn’t cry or yell at all when I ask him to alight even though he still want to ride. 

We went for dinner as to celebrate Mummy In Vain’s birthday on Tuesday. We supposed to send kids home and go for a movie after the dinner, but we cancelled it. Hubby and I hardly to go for movie lately as Marcus will cry and scream like freak when he can’t see me around. My mother in law asked us better to buy DVDs and watch it at home instead of go to cinema. Well, I will bring him to cinema with us one day.

I bought a gift from Body Shop for Mummy In Vain since her husband invites us for dinner. LOL!!! She told me that her hubby only bought her a birthday cake. Actually she hopes to get a handcrafted jewelry or luxury handbag from her hubby.

This is the most exciting place for kids. We decided to go to hubby’s pub for cake cutting. LOL!!! I thought my boy will cry, but he was not. He’s so concentrate on the snacks. This is his first time to go pub and exposed to such unhealthy and smoky environment. Of course it is not good to bring kids to pub always.  

We stayed there for an hour and back home after having delicious cake as it’s time for kids to bed. Anyway, hubby and I have a great night out with our boy.

We didn’t go anywhere on Father’s Day. As usual, we went to my parents’ house after breakfast. Marcus met his cousin sister every Sunday and yet they still play by themselves. We supposed to have a dinner with my parents as to celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, but they went for a wedding dinner, so I postposed and celebrated it the next day. Just a simple dinner with my parents, parents in law and hubby’s godparents.

As for my little boy, he was so excited when I ask him wheather he wants to go swimming. I let him swim and play with his toys in the mini plastic pool (not sure about the actual name :P). Of course hubby is the one who filled the water and take care of Marcus. I just stand there and snapped photos. LOL!!!

My niece is still sleeping that time. May be she knows there’s something for her, she woke up then. After few minutes, my sister tried to put her in slowly, but she cried. Well, her first time experience swimming I think….

Marcus likes coloring and he knows each of the colors name. Well, I bought him a drawing book and few coloring books, of course he colors like mess at his age. I can’t expect too much and hopefully he will improve on coloring when he goes to nursery next year.

Sometimes, I just let him color on his own. And, this is the result that coloring without mummy around :

I get angry whenever he colors on the mattress, even on floor now. I can’t control my temper and scold him. He seemed understand and ran to play his toys, leaving the mess for mummy.  I wonder when he knows how to color on wall.

I need to control myself as anger will give wrinkles on my face and not good for health. I don’t want to spend money to buy those anti wrinkle cream so fast even though I know where to get the best wrinkle cream online. LOL!!!

I’m having a busy weekend with my brother’s wedding and attend a kid’s birthday party. It was Shen Liang 1st Brirthday party on Sunday. I told his mummy that it is a must to have a party for him on his 1st birthday, so that Marcus can join the party as well. LOL!!!

The party is held in the afternoon, which is Marcus nap time. I don’t bother about it and let him join the crowd. We were back at home after the party, but this little cheeky boy didn’t feel asleep at all. 

Talking about gift for the birthday boy, I have no idea what to buy for him thought he has many nice clothes and toys. Looking at those colour pencils, some nice cheap pens, story books, children DVD songs and etc at MPH book store, I got him a set of baby first word books. They are so colourful, and I got Marcus another set of peekaboo books.

This set of toy is one of his birthday present and I let him play with it recently. Of course I’m the one who do the setting for him and make some sound of the train whenever he moves it.

I discovered that he likes to put all the animals and people like the above and tell me “knock, knock”, that’s mean all get hurt. Geee….how come he can think and act in this way, may be he wants to show me that he also look like them when he fall down. LOL!!!  

Since Marcus is too young to go to nursery, not I say that but others even the principle from the montessori centre. I just want him to learn and mix around with other kids, that is why I brought him for a trial class at MusikGarten in Ipoh Garden East last Thursday. I thought he will cry during the class, but he was not.

Daddy, where is this place ? I want to go home …….

Before the class starts, hubby carried him to see other kids from outside. He can easily open the door and everyone is looking at us. Gosh, we felt sorry that disturb others and I wonder why the teacher not using Schlage products, then kids will not easily open the door and run out from class. LOL!!!

When we’re in the class, he reluctant to join the crowd, only sticked with us. After a while, he started to smile when he see others playing and running around the class. Actually he wanted to join them, just too shy and scared for the first time. I was happy to see him followed the steps at last. The class started at 7.45pm and ended at 8.15pm. Well, he even waived goodbye to his music teacher before back home.

I will enroll him when we attend the class again this week. Parents need to participate with their toddler in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening and playing simple instruments. So, I also have to learn and play with him in the class. Another exercise for me besides yoga. LOL!!! I bought 2 more sets of block puzzles for Marcus from Toy’R'Us store at MidValley during my previous trip to KL. Actually he has one wooden dinosaur block puzzle, but he was bored with it. I was shocked to know that he can put back all in less than a minute. I don’t have to teach him and he knows what to do and how to play with the new set of puzzle. Now, he takes all the vehicle and plays together with his toy cars.

This is the most challenging set I got it for him. It’s suitable for 3 years old, but I started to teach him. I think I need to use more than a month to let him get use of it. He is still blur with all the alphabets.

My friend recommended me about stacking blocks and shape blocks. I think I will look for it when I go shopping next time. Besides all these block puzzles, what else do they like to play ???

We’re back from our 2 days 1 night KL trip last night. It’s a great family trip with Mummyinvain and Shoppingmum family even though all of us were tired on the way back to Ipoh. The purpose for this trip mainly because for DISNEY ON ICE show at Stadium Bukit Jalil. LOL!!!

We reached at Sri Petaling Hotel, our accomodation to check-in first before out to dinner. I dare not to stay in this hotel again, poor facilities with cockroaches inside the bathroom. Gosh, we stayed here because the hotel is about 1km to Stadium Bukit Jalil.

After dinner, we proceed to Mines Wonderland night theme park. We went home earlier as we need to wake up early the next day to catch the show. Furthermore, kids were extremely tired after a long walk inside the park.

After riding on the bike at Polo Ground last Sunday, I decided to bring him to another play station ~ amusement park at Jusco. I told hubby as to bring us there before he goes out to meet his customer last night. Since we will not go to Genting Highlands for the rides this few months, so a little playland made my boy felt excited and happy. I was surprised to see some new rides, but no others except us.

Just be there for about 20 minutes, we spend RM10 for the rides. When we said it’s time to go home, he just waived goodbye to the rides and didn’t yell or scream like other kids. So, I promised to him that we will come again next time.

It was a sunny day yesterday, so hubby and I decided to bring Marcus to go playground. I can’t remember when was the last time we have been here as it always raining in the evening these days. My boy was so excited when he saw others playing kites, and balls. We didn’t bring anything as we’re came out from my parents house.

This time I let my boy to ride for this rechargeable motorcycle. Each was charged RM2 for 7 minutes. Hubby and I chased after him once we switched on the button on the motorcycle. He still not familiar to control the handle, though this is his first time. Hubby and I felt extremely tired even just for few minutes.

We decided to go home earlier as we will go out for dinner to celebrate my brother’s birthday.  

I told Marcus that daddy and mummy will bring him to KL for Disney On Ice show next month. I wonder if he understands what I mean. Anyway, I’m sure he will very happy and excited that follow us anywhere we go. Besides that, we have to attend many wedding events once we back from our vacation next month. Well, the most great event that we will attend is my brother’s wedding which is about 2 months away.

My brother is looking for a nice wedding camera, but I will suggest to him about disposable wedding cameras. I can give one to Marcus and hope that he can snap some nice photos. Alright, I know he still don’t know how to use camera, but just for fun will make him happy for the whole day.

If I know about this product earlier, I will definitely use it during my wedding day. It’s one of the unique wedding idea and giving everyone the opportunity to relive on your wedding.

It was my mother in law 59th birthday yesterday. It’s just a simple celebration for her. We supposed to have western food but ended up for chinese food as my sister in law went to the wrong restaurant. Since hubby invited her for dinner, so I decided to buy a blueberry birthday cake.

After the dinner, we proceed home for cake cutting. Marcus was so excited when we start to sing Happy Birthday’s song. He likes the song much and whenever I sing this song in front of him, he will laugh non stop and ask for cake.

He was so happy seeing us clapping hands and forgot to blow candle together with his Mama.

It’s school holiday this week. Many parents will bring their kids for vacation, but some of them just stay at home doing their school homework and play around only. Well, as for my little boy, he is sure having a lot of fun during this school holiday as his best friends ~ Ah Seng kor kor and Lina ceh ceh come to play with him every day. LOL!!!

They came to play with Marcus last night. As told by my mother in law, Marcus drank a lot of water and eat much because his friends were around with him. He was so happy and excited. Too bad, hubby and I can’t join them as we’re also enjoyed our night outing.

They’re taking their lunch together with Marcus this afternoon. Looks like they don’t have age gap as kor kor is Standard 1 and ceh ceh is Standard 4. Let’s see if they come again tonight.

APPLY LOTION !!! This is what this vain boy will do before he goes to sleep every night. He will point for the lotion on my hairdressing table once he gets on bed.  Hubby will help me to apply the lotion most of the time if he is at home while I’m busy applying my skin cares. LOL!!!  

Then, my vain boy will help to rub back his daddy hands with lotion. Gosh, they are enjoying rub each other hands. It’s so nice and happy to see them playing around. Since he likes it much, I need to buy him organic or kids’ lotion as it’s no good using mine.   

I started to introduce dinosaur puzzles to Marcus last month. This is one of his birthday present. He still not master the puzzles well, may be it’s too new for him. Lately, he is more interested to play with this poney sorting shapes which was also one of his birthday present. LOL!!!

I have bought this kind of sorting shapes puzzles for him months ago, it contains 10 holes but he hardly do well on it, though there’re too many shapes for him. He is 2 years old only and that education toy is suitable for 3 years old kids. I was so keen to let him learn. *kiasumum* ???

I “love” my poney toy ……

This toys contains 4 holes, and he can master them well after 2 weeks. There are circle, square, triangle and star shapes. But sometimes he will purposely put them wrong and want me to show him.

Yeah, my mother bought a new wood riding poney for Marcus as one of his birthday gifts yesterday. She told me this gift is for his birthday in chinese calendar. Aiya, actually it’s just a reason for my mother, she likes to buy this and that for her grandson, just like my father.

I can save lot of money to buy him toys since they are many people who willing to pay for it. LOL!!! He was excited to see the gift at first but played with it not more than 3 minutes. Anyway, his favourite toys now are all his model cars. 

This is one of his birthday gift -dinosaur puzzle set from Shoppingmum. I let him to play with it yesterday and he was very excited at first because of the colourful blocks. But after a while, he just put them on the floor and get back to his favourite toy - car models.

I did taught him but he is still clueless on how to play with it. I think I need to teach him more often and hope he can master it one day.

I decided to bring Marcus to my father’s shop last week. His po po and gong gong very miss him. When he arrived, everyone was busy entertained him and stopped working until we left.

My father knows he likes car, that’s why he gave him a steering wheel to practise how to drive.

Well, without the steering wheel, he also can pretend how to drive. Clever boy !!!

 Once again HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVELY BOY !!!

There’s a birthday party for my boy at KFC yesterday. The party should start at 5pm but since most of the guests are late, we started the party at 5.30pm. Actually it was just a gathering for family and some closed friends of mine. Since nobody is coming yet, we took some nice family photos first. LOL!!! 

 

The birthday boy seemed to be so shy at the beginning of the party. But once he saw his Ah Sing kor kor (our neighbour’s son) came, he felt excited and surprised. Most of the time he followed the kor kor during the party. Well, he needs time to warm up wherever he goes.

After all have their food, the children have more energy to play game. The birthday boy didn’t join the game as he is too shy and blur with the game. After that, we have a cake cutting.

Was the birthday cake lovely and nice? I ordered it from jjcakes. Actually this birthday cake was chose by Marcus when i showed him a cake photo album. He likes cars and that’s why he kept on point to the car’s photo when I ordered the cake last week.

Wow, lot of birthday presents for Marcus. Presents opening time when we back home. Guess what, among all the presents, he likes the car from Aunty Florence.

My son still yet to go to school this year. He will only turn to be 2 years old this Sunday. He will play by himself with his toys or watch Barney DVD if mummy and “mah mah” not free. But I found that he has other activities when he’s at home lately.

Marcus likes to watch Chinese New Year’s DVD. He will dance and “sing” together with all the”kor kor and jie jie” I guess he falls in love with them as he will watch few times a day without bored. But I’m bored and headache when I hear the songs as my mother in law and I also can memorize all the songs now.

He will do this action when he see the artists wearing sexy clothes in the DVD. It’s mean shameful to him. Geee….so cute!!!

After finished the DVD, he will then proceed to his next activity - playing with all his car models given by my father and brother. Most of the model cars are broken, missing one door, missing one window, missing cover, can’t function. but my little boy still interested to play every now and then. LOL!!! Kids are kids anyway…

I have no idea when was the last time hubby and I brought Marcus for swimming. I told hubby as to bring him again and he promised me to come back as early as possible after work last Friday. I packed everything and we went out once hubby comes back.

Marcus refused to go into the baby swimming pool at first. He was so scared and forgot about what he did here few months ago. But hubby was so patience to entertain him, talked and played with him. After few minutes, his mood came back and he wanted to play and walk without anyone holding him. Well, he didn’t know how to walk when he was here last year.

Hubby wanted him to wear a shirt even though he did wear his swimming trunk. But I think it’s more cold if wear a shirt, right? Hubby said it’s the same with or without the shirt. Anyway, we just there for about 20 minutes though it’s started to rain.

   

It was a busy and noisy day for my mother in law and I yesterday. Most of the time we only take care of Marcus, but my MIL brought her granddaughter (my niece) came and played with Marcus. Her parents were not around in Ipoh this week, it’s quite pity and lonely for her to just stay at home without daddy and mummy around.

Marcus was so happy and excited when he saw his cousin sister as he has a playmate to play, share things together. They really look like brother and sister, right? My son was so friendly to hug her They even drink water together, if not because of his cousin around, I don’t think he will drink water so frequently like yesterday.

But things never be so good always, they fought for toys and made the living room mess like hell. Gosh! Marcus cried when he saw his cousin crying for sleep. They even wanted my MIL to hug them together though they’re jeolous with each other if my MIL just hug one of them only. Kids are kids, and we never expect when they will play happily together or fighting with each other for toys.

Hubby and I were not celebrate New Year with Marcus last night. We went to the pub for countdown with friends. So today we spent all the day with him. We went to Jusco after breakfast and back to my parents house for lunch. In the evening, we brought him to Polo ground for some outdoor fun and exercises.

He was too excited to see all other kids ran and jumped here and there. But my little boy was too scared to move forward. Well, I will get ready some bubbles soap for him as he loves it much next time. We just there for about half an hour and decided to go home as it started to rain.  

We went to Ipoh Parade after breakfast as hubby wanted to buy some table calendars for his customers yesterday. When we reached Popular book store, Marcus looked like a free bird, walked here and there to find books. Even though he doesn’t know how to read, but he was very concentrate on the book he picked.

He didn’t want to put back the book and cried for it. Hubby didn’t want to queue up and pay money again as there are lots of people. I also didn’t want to buy the book first as it’s for children writing.

Hubby told him that he needed the book to pay money, then he let go it. We felt guilty that lied to him (*slap head*). No choice but have to do that. So, we brought him to have a sit in the mini trolley car. He was extremely happy and forgot about the book. LOL!!!

I hate what my hubby gave Marcus for drink when we’re having supper in Singapore with his buddies last Saturday. It is a really bad influence from his daddy. Where got father teach his little son how to drink beer? He told me that it’s fine just for few drops. *slap head*

But my boy felt good when having the drink. OMG, I wonder if he will like his daddy when he grows up. I do not like my hubby drink beer or wain, but because he needs to entertain customers sometimes, he has no choice but to drink few glasses.

I told him many times that his tummy looks like 7 months old pregnant now. So, better go for keep fit or else become 9 months old pregnant, then have to wear maternity clothes. LOL!!!
