I did tell Marcus that we’re going to move into our new house soon. He seems so excited and keep asking me when to pack our luggage and others. You know, he asks me before he goes to bed almost every night. He knows that he will have his new bedroom and sleep by his own. I wonder if he can sleep alone without me?

My mother disagreed with me to let his grandson sleep by his own. She advised me let Marcus adapt to the new environment for few months. Hubby and I think it is the best time to train him in such new environment. I know my kid well, he actually can’t wait to dip into a new bathtub in the master bedroom. LOL!!!

I visited my friend at her lighting shop last week. There’re many choices and types of lighting. She recommended me some new kichler landscape lighting. Too bad I think I won’t even have a mini garden at my car porch. She offers me a designer to plan my house lighting for free. I like this service where other lighting shops don’t have.

I’m thinking to let Marcus to sleep alone in a room. But I’m sure he still can’t sleep by himself at this moment. Thus, I thought to buy a new bed as to put it in my bedroom and sleep with us instead of sleeping in a playpan now. He knows how to climb out and I’m worry if he wereto  fall down one day.

My friend told me it is good to buy any of the platform beds, not just for kids but adults too. I have searched through the information about the platform beds. But in the meantime, I’m not getting it first until he can sleep by himself.

We have nothing to do last night. So, hubby drove Marcus and I for a round near our housing area. There are lot of new houses and we decided to go for a new house survey. Well, we are not buying a new house at this moment. But I do hope that I can have a bigger house, so that Marcus has more place to run.

Hubby told me that this is not a dream. We will get a bigger house in this few years time. Just looking at the bathroom design above, doesn’t it looks luxury and unique with the bathroom lights?

But I still have to wait for few more years before I can really get this big and nice bathroom.

I would like to say thank you to my childhood friend, Siew. She gave me a tin of Nippon paint as to paint Marcus’s new play room last week. But I still keep it in the store room. Why? Because my hubby isn’t free to help me to paint the wall yet. I wonder how long does the paint needs to wait?? Luckily no expire date….LOL!!!

 

DENG! DENG! DENG! DENG!

This is my son’s new play & study room. Finally hubby was free to help me to fix the book shelves, toys rack, desk and chairs from IKEA yesterday. Thank you, dear !!!

Marcus likes the room much and of cause me too. He will only take story books and ask me to read for him each time he comes to the room. He seldom play with the toys, funny huh ?

I still have to buy more toys, books, and other accessories for this room. So, my friends out there, do bring your kids to my house more often and let them play and read together with Marcus. It’s no fun to play alone.

If hubby doesn’t go out to entertain his customers, he will fetch Marcus and I go out for a walk like Jusco. If it’s rain, we will stay at home and enjoy watching TV. Hubby told me that he wants to buy a plasma TV and place it in his working room. I agreed with him as our TV always give us problem.

This man, my hubby knows how to enjoy well. He also wants to buy home theater chairs too. I think next time we no need to go for movies in cinema anymore as our room is just like a small cinema.

I plan to shop for lights for our home before Christmas. Most of the lights at our home are just normal neon light. There are many choices to choose from home lighting, think will get a nice set for our master bedroom. All lighting looks unique and classic. Well, for other area of my home, I will change to some simple designed lighting.

There are many more things that I need to renovate and change. But have to plan and budget it first.  My next change is home curtain.

Marcus will turn 21 months soon and he is not a baby but toddler. I always hope to design and decorate a nice bedroom for him when he grows up. I think it is the best time for me to plan and decorate the nice bedroom for him. In the meantime, he is same room with me and my hubby.

Since we won’t move out to a new house in this few years, I thought to renovate my house before Chinese New Year. Hubby did think about to get personal loans to invest in his business and renovate the house, but he didn’t as he knows that the bankers nowadays have stricter on approving loans.

Hubby sure will get the loan approval if he apply, but he doesn’t want to have many debts. It is very important to have good lighting at home when you reading books, watching television or doing other things during night time. I’m always switch on the light whenever I see the environment getting darker even though it’s day time.

Before Marcus’s born, I have decorated my living room with a rug. It made my living room looked more comfortable and luxuty after putting it on the floor. Too bad, the color of the rug not sharp anymore after vacuum and wash it many times.

Now, I decided to buy a new one to put it on the floor. It’s not only for the home decoration, it’s goof for my son as he can play his toys on the rug. Doesn’t it feel more comfortable when we sit or walk through it?
